Job Summary:

The successful applicant will manage the day to day operations of a Coffee Shop and will be expected to work closely with the Coffee Expert/ Head Barista.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will manage the day to day operations of a Coffee Shop and will be expected to work closely with the Coffee Expert/ Head Barista. The position will require the applicant to assist with overseeing and having knowledge of all aspects of coffee preparation techniques, assisting with sourcing and evaluating the raw product, roasting and blending varieties of coffee and ensuring that health and safety standards are complied with.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Coffee Shop Manager experience is essential, with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Barista with a reputable company
• Must have the ability to train and educate staff about coffee, espresso based coffee and Latte art for coffee cup decorations
• Excellent communication, reporting and organizational skills are required. In addition, the applicant will be expected to conduct performance reviews, and able to work with minimum supervision while being a self- starter.
